When travelling in Europe, there is no doubt the range of famous sights that you can’t wait to tick off the list. But what about those little moments that aren’t on the list? The things that happen in an everyday sort of way; offering an enchanting glimpse of what life is actually like? That’s what today’s Video of the Week is all about, and we hope you enjoy it!

Paris Euphoria from Julien Alcacer on Vimeo.

Paris is filled with incredible attractions, from the famous boulevards and boutiques to the museums, art galleries, monuments and places of interest that are known the world over. Whether you’re fixated on getting a photo in front of the Eiffel Tower, or you want to soak up the culture in The Louvre, or people-watch from one of Paris’ legendary cafes: it’s all do-able on your tour of Europe.

But that’s not what today’s video is about. Combining a range of moods and textures, this is a totally unique look at Paris. Because although Paris is typified by The Eiffel Tower, the Moulin Rouge, the Champs-Elysees and all those other famous sights (look out for a glimpse of the Arc de Triomphe in the video!) it’s also got so much more to offer the traveller who takes the time to look between the lines and appreciate the nooks and crannies of this ancient city.

Whether its the fine details of the cathedrals, the faces of the gargoyles who look out across the city, or the way lovers sit by The Seine in summer, or a chameleon jerkily making its way through the trees in some green corner of the city… Paris will enchant you! So enjoy today’s video, and next time you’re in Paris, remember to look for these details too!
