Croatia’s Plitvice Lakes National Park is an astoundingly beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site – one of Croatia’s most popular spots and a definite highlight of our tours of Croatia.

Made up of 16 turquoise lakes connected by cascading waterfalls and lined with lush vegetation, the Plitvice Lakes National Park is a real treasure, located on the border of Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Also featuring an impressive selection of wildlife (including bears, wolves, boar, deer, rabbits, foxes, badgers and over 120 species of birds), this really is a nature-lover’s paradise!
