Welcome to your tour of the UK and Ireland! Departing from London, travel to the mysterious Stonehenge. Here, you have the option to explore the ancient archaeological wonder that has stood for thousands of years in the countryside of south-west England. Ponder the mysteries of this ancient site for yourself and learn about the history of the area. Next stop is the beautiful, historic city of Bath, where your tour leader will show you the main sights including the famous Roman baths. This was our first bus tour and while quite busy, it was so enjoyable. The itinerary was well planned with a good balance of driving, stops, and activities in the various cities and towns visited. We enjoyed the included breakfast each morning, and several dinners. There were many excursions to select from for those who wished to do a few extra tours, but one of the best parts of the tour were all the great people we met. Our tour guide, Justin, and bus driver, Russell, were excellent to deal with. Both were friendly and approachable and willing to assist with whatever request was put to them. Recently completed our first UK tour with Ex Pat. Thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Ex Pat certainly packed in as much of the highlights as they could. We felt the trip was good value for money. We were blessed with good weather the whole trip. The exchange rate between Australian dollar and UK dollar was regretful so the included breakfast and free group dinners were a welcome addition.We appreciated the option to do additional day trips or just do our own thing during the day.
