Spend your free evening in Rome discovering the vibrant food scene, historic sights and charming atmosphere of the colourful Trastevere neighbourhood. Start in the heart of Trastevere in the Piazza Trilussa. Make your way to a local supplì spot and try one of these irresistible rice balls that are similar to arancini yet distinctly Roman. Then, indulge in a delicious dinner at a local Enoteca complete with aperitivo and a choice of classic Roman pasta (carbonara, amatriciana or cacio e pepe). After, take a stroll through Trastevere and discover its top sights including the Piazza and Fontana di Santa Maria, Vicolo del Piede, Piazza di Sant'Egidio and Vicolo del Cinque. Finally, admire the Basilica di Santa Maria. Built in the 3rd century, this ancient church is thought to be the first site of Christian worship in all of Rome!
