Fast paced but enjoyable
As expected, this was a tour that gave me a taster of some European cities I hadn't visited before. A sociable and well organized tour guide, with some excellent walking tour guides in each city. Hotels generally of a good standard. A nice set of tour companions too.

First rail tour
I wanted to experience the rail touring since I have been on several coach tours. This rail tour stoped in large cities. The coach trips stop briefly stop at smaller cities.

Wonderful experience
Traveled with my 2 daughters and we all fell in love with the countries we experienced on this tour. This was our 2nd Expat tour and all 3 of us agreed the train travel was so much better than the coach travel. Justin was our tour lead and he was outstanding!! Extremely knowledgeable about all the places we visited. He always have great recommendations about where to go on free time, where to eat, things to look for and how to feel safe and comfortable at all times.

Awesome Trip!!
1st time doing a group tour with expat explore and it didn't disappoint. Our tour guide Justin was really good and was very knowledgeable of Prague, Vienna, Slovakia and Budapest. Prague is just an amazing place to visit, I recommend all the optional excursions with the exception of the folklore show. Vienna is a great place, the food is incredible. Bratislava proved to be a charming day tour so don't skip it! Budapest exceeded all expectations and the overall vibe / style reminded me of NYC (in the mid 90's) and very safe. Whatever you do it seems that the heart of the nighlife is right in the Jewish quarter so don't pass on it.

Travel like a European
Justin was a terrific guide. The group size of 17 was perfect to get to know each other. We had a handful of solo travelers, 2 small families and a few couples so it was a nice mix. The places visited were beautiful, I enjoyed all of the excursions except the Czech folk dancing. Loved Bratislava.
