At Expat Explore, we are closely following the situation in the Middle East. Currently, the only tours that are affected are those that take place in Egypt & Jordan. All other tours are departing as scheduled. Your safety and peace of mind remain our highest priorities. Here is everything you need to know.
Our communications are currently affected by technical issues, but rest assured, every message is being received. Scroll down for alternative ways to reach us, our opening hours, and a personal message from our Head of Tour Delivery, Ananda.
We appreciate that many of you will still have questions or concerns. We are currently reaching out to customers travelling in March via email and phone to confirm that these tours are operating as scheduled, and to answer any queries you might have.
The FCDO has updated its advice for Jordan to advise against all but essential travel. In line with this guidance, we are unable to operate our Jordan tours at this time. We can, however, continue to operate in Egypt.
We will be contacting all affected travellers directly. Those impacted will have the choice to extend their stay in Egypt or postpone their trip to a later date.

Later Departures
We are closely monitoring the situation in the Middle East and FCDO advice. We will be in contact with travellers on later departures in due course.
All other tours are currently unaffected and will proceed as scheduled. If you are booked on one of these tours and have any concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Please check your flight status directly with your airline and sign up to their real-time alerts. This is the fastest and most reliable way to stay informed about any changes to your journey.
As a UK-registered company, we closely follow the official guidance of the UK government's Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). The FCDO advice currently states that we can continue to run our tours in all the areas that we operate, with the exception of Jordan.
If you would like to view the latest FCDO guidance for your specific destination, you can do so at gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice.
We have been experiencing technical issues with our external communications provider, affecting calls, emails, and messaging platforms (including WhatsApp, live chat, Facebook Messenger). Our team is actively working with our provider to restore full service as quickly as possible.
Your patience means a great deal to us, and we apologise for the inconvenience this has caused. Every message is being received, and we will get back to you.

Hi everyone, Ananda here. I am the Head of Tour Delivery at Expat Explore, responsible for looking after our customers before they travel and while they are on tour.
I want to give you a personal update on the technical issues that have been affecting our ability to receive and respond to your calls, emails and messages.
Our external communications provider utilises servers in the Middle East. This infrastructure has been directly impacted by the conflict there, and the damage is to such an extent that it cannot be resolved locally. All data is being migrated to servers based in Europe, and while this complex operation is taking place, the resolution is taking longer than was initially expected.
We are in constant contact with the communications provider and have done everything in our power to push this forward. Unfortunately, we are completely dependent on them to fully restore our call, email and messaging functionality.
I'm truly sorry for this situation. I know it's been frustrating, especially at a time when you have questions that need answers.
We're hoping that they will restore our full service in the coming days.
How to Reach Us
In the meantime, we have created a new temporary phone line:
Call: 0044 1474 552 764
I know a UK number isn't ideal for many of you calling from abroad, and I genuinely apologise for that. It's the only line we're able to make available right now, but our team is there and ready to help.
Email: info@expatexplore.com
Our team is hard at work answering every email, focusing first on those with the earliest departure dates. We appreciate your patience as we get to yours.
