South America Travel Expert

Local Expert

22 Years of Tour Leading

Fluent English & Spanish

I'm Peruvian, and South America is my speciality. From Peru's ancient wonders to Chile's Atacama Desert, Argentina's passion to Uruguay's hidden colonial gems, I know how to prepare you for dramatic climate changes in a single trip and how to help you respect and value Andean and Amazonian traditions.

I became a tour leader because I'm passionate about connecting people with authentic experiences.

What keeps me coming back after 22 years? Being part of those breakthrough moments. When a traveller manages to complete a tour that seemed difficult due to altitude or felt unattainable, that's the best feeling. I want you to be surprised, to learn, to enjoy, and to know that I was part of making that happen.

When to Travel

From winter to summer (March - December), when the rain ends and the landscape is beautiful. You'll get the best views of the Andes, ideal conditions for visiting Machu Picchu, clear skies at the Ballestas Islands, and perfect weather for exploring Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay.

Local Flavours

Definitely ceviche and lomo saltado! Both are traditional dishes in Peru that can be tried in local restaurants in each city.
Cuy (guinea pig) is very typical in the Andes of Peru. Delicious, traditional, and unique in the world. You can try it only in restaurants specialising in the preparation of this typical dish.

Insider Advice

Get ready to experience very different climates. In a single trip, you can go through coastal regions where it’s temperate and humid, mountain ranges where it’s cold at night with strong sun during the day, and jungle areas with both heat and rain. Wear layered clothing and sunscreen, always.

Must-Do Experiences

Standing at Machu Picchu, feeling all the history, landscape, and energy from the moment you arrive at the Sacred Valley to when you visit the Inca complex itself. Also, watching a traditional tango show that captures the passion and culture of Argentina.
