I’m Laura from Liverpool — home of The Beatles and, if you ask me, the friendliest people in the UK. If you’re looking for the best pint in England, stick with me!
Over the years, I’ve dived into every corner of tourism, from teaching scuba to running island tours, working on small cruises, and eventually finding my stride on coach tours.
I focus on creating an atmosphere where people feel both cared for and capable, and where the journey becomes more than just sightseeing—it becomes a shared experience that stays with them long after they’ve gone home.
Fun fact: I actually studied zoology, which comes in surprisingly handy with my group herding abilities!

When to Travel
If you want to see Great Britain at its most charming, plan your trip for May or September. These shoulder-season months offer mild weather, long daylight hours, and far fewer crowds than peak summer.
In May, the country bursts into spring colour as gardens and countryside come alive. In September, summer lingers with warm days and golden light.
Local Flavours
A classic fish and chips in a cosy pub is a must, while in Liverpool you should try Scouse, a hearty local stew and true comfort food. It’s also a great place to enjoy a perfectly poured Guinness.
In Scotland, taste haggis, and for something quirky, try the famous deep-fried Mars bar. Wales offers Welsh rarebit, a rich, cheesy dish served on toast.
Insider Advice
When travelling around Great Britain, locals will tell you to pack for every kind of weather. One surprisingly useful item is a light scarf. It can shade you from the sun, protect against a passing drizzle, add warmth in the evening, or cover your shoulders when visiting historic churches and cathedrals.
Must-Do Experiences
Stand in awe at the ancient wonder of Stonehenge. In Scotland, scan the waters of Loch Ness for a glimpse of the legendary Loch Ness Monster. Soak up the scenery of the Scottish Highlands and the serene beauty of Lake District National Park. Along the way, watch a traditional Highland dance, listen to the stirring sound of bagpipes, and enjoy live music in cosy pubs across the country.
