I’m an Aussie-born explorer who has guided more than 3,000 travellers across Europe. I actually became a tour leader because I once joined a group tour of Europe myself — and it completely changed my life. By the end of the trip, I knew I wanted to be on the other side of the clipboard! I went home, quit my job, and decided to help create those same unforgettable experiences for other travellers.
I love that I’m constantly learning more with every visit, deepening my knowledge and finding new details to share, so each tour feels fresh, engaging, and meaningful for my guests.

When to Travel
The best time to visit Northern Europe is June during the Midsummer celebrations, when you can experience the magical midnight sun, long daylight hours, and festive traditions across Sweden, Norway and Finland — all with far milder temperatures than Southern Europe.
Local Flavours
In Sweden, enjoy a traditional fika — a cosy coffee break with cinnamon buns (kanelbullar) that’s as much about the atmosphere as the sweet treat. In Denmark, try authentic smørrebrød, beautifully presented open-faced rye bread sandwiches topped with everything from pickled herring to roast beef.
Insider Advice
Don’t mistake Nordic reserve for rudeness. In countries like Sweden, Norway, and Finland, people tend to be more understated and don’t always express emotions outwardly — but that doesn’t mean they’re unfriendly. Once you understand the culture, you’ll find locals incredibly helpful and genuine.
Must-Do Experiences
Visit the Vasa Museum in Stockholm and see the remarkably preserved 17th-century warship that sank on its maiden voyage. Experience the breathtaking Norwegian fjords. And, explore the mighty Malbork Castle in Poland, the largest brick castle in the world and a true medieval masterpiece.
