I launched our USA & Canada tours in 2018 because I knew these destinations had so much more to offer than the stereotypes suggest. I’m from Toronto, but it wasn’t until I moved to London that I truly appreciated what makes this part of the world so special. Today, I design these tours to show travellers the real USA & Canada, not just what you see in the movies.
My favourite part of working on these tours is watching people experience the contrasts. The vibrant chaos of New York City, followed by Quebec’s cobblestone streets that feel like stepping into Europe. Detroit’s creative renaissance rising from bankruptcy. Quiet Amish countryside. Vineyards unfolding just before Niagara Falls. Every stop feels completely different, yet they all belong together.

When to Travel
The two best times: June-July is high season for a reason. Everything is flourishing, there are more activities, a better vibe, and excitement in the air. Or choose September-October for changing leaves (red, orange, yellow) and beautiful fall scenery on the East Coast.
Local Flavours
Clam chowder in Boston is non-negotiable. In Quebec, try poutine: fries topped with cheese curds and gravy. Famously, the go-to late-night comfort food. Toronto? Just walk around. If something smells good, go try it. The food scene is incredible thanks to its multicultural mix.
Insider Advice
Cards are accepted everywhere, so there’s no need to carry much cash. If you’re European, be prepared for big coffees. And despite appearances, people are genuinely friendly. Big-city locals may seem in their own world, but stop someone and they’ll help, often with extra tips and local insights.
Must-Do Experiences
Experience New York City in person. Enjoy breakfast at a family-run maple syrup farm in McDonald’s Corners (the cutest little town), complete with maple syrup popsicles. Witness the power of Niagara Falls, and drive through the vineyards of Niagara-on-the-Lake.
