En route to Porto, discover medieval Obidos on an orientation drive. Next, travel to the dazzling coastal town of Nazaré, where you could see some of the world's biggest waves! After arriving in Porto, join a local guide for a driving and walking tour. Then, say “saúde” (cheers) to an included Port tasting. Enjoy a group dinner before hotel check-in.

Peruse Porto with a free day devoted to exploring its historic sites and vibrant local culture. As one of Portugal's oldest cities, Porto is filled with architectural and scenic wonders to uncover. This evening, consider an optional experience featuring a live Fado show paired with a three-course feast of local delights overlooking the Douro River.

Depart Portugal this morning and cross back into Spain. Stop in the historic city of Ciudad Rodrigo before journeying to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Salamanca for the night. Once there, take a guided tour unveiling the golden architecture and spellbinding tales of this ancient city. This evening, enjoy an included three-course dinner featuring tasty local delights.

Before returning to Madrid, visit Avila and marvel at spectacular countryside views, medieval city walls, and Romanesque and Gothic churches. Back in the buzzing capital of Madrid, join a local guide to tick off landmarks like the bustling Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel and the Royal Palace. This evening, enjoy a final Spanish dinner with the group.

The Spain & Portugal portion of this journey comes to an end this morning. Bid farewell to your tour leader, as a new tour leader will join you in Morocco. Head to the airport to catch a flight from Madrid to Morocco. Arrive in Casablanca in the afternoon and transfer to the hotel. This evening is free to unwind or explore.

After breakfast, meet up with new travellers joining the tour. Then, set off on an orientation tour to experience Casablanca's top attractions. Enjoy photo stops at Rick's Café and the Hassan II Mosque. Then, depart to Rabat, Morocco's capital. Arrive and embark on a city tour. Sit down for a Moroccan feast at a local restaurant tonight!

Head to Chefchaouen, the famous blue city. Visit the gorgeous town of Asilah en route. Enjoy a tour of the Medina (Old Town) and admire marvellous murals and extraordinary ocean views. Once in Chefchaouen, get acquainted with the "Blue Pearl" of Morocco on a guided tour and behold the blue-hued houses giving this city its colourful nickname.

Journey to the 13-century city of Fes, affectionately called the "Yellow City". With over 9,000 streets, this is one of the world's oldest and biggest urban pedestrian zones. Discover Seffarine Square and the 18th-Century tiled Nejjarine Fountain on a guided tour. Then, visit a local tannery. End the day with a buffet dinner at the hotel.

There are options aplenty on this free day, including souvenir shopping, tasting delicious Moroccan delights and diving deeper into the Fes Medina. Alternatively, choose to take a trip to Volubilis on today's optional excursion. Join a local guide on a tour through ancient Roman archaeology before visiting a regional winery for an idyllic lunch and wine pairing.

Travel to the desert today! First stop is Ifrane, also called "Little Switzerland". Next up is a photo opportunity at the expansive Atlas Mountains as the tour travels through Ziz Valley towards Erfoud. Take a 4x4 trip through the rugged terrains to Merzouga. Enjoy a lively, traditional bonfire before heading to your idyllic desert camp under the desert sky.

The early bird catches the most sensational views of the sun rising over the stretching desert landscapes this morning!. On the way to Ouarzazate, take a moment to marvel at the mesmerising Todra Gorge with its striking limestone canyons and overhead cliffs. Then, travel to this evening's hotel. Tonight, join the group for dinner at the hotel.

Explore Ouarzazate with a driving tour highlighting sights like the exquisite Taourirt Kasbah. Then, visit the otherworldly, fortified village of Aït Benhaddou. After, journey through the twists and turns of the Tizi n' Tichka mountain pass, known for its jaw-dropping scenery which delights at every turn. Arrive in Marrakesh and feast on a regional, slow-cooked meat stew called tangia.

Marrakesh, possibly Morocco's most famous Imperial city, is your playground for the next two days.
