Balkan Explorer
Overall the tour was great however too many days ended late in the day and eating dinner at 9pm is too late, especially when you have to be back on the bus at 7am the next day.Albania was the highlight for me.

A whirlwind through the Balkan Peninsula.
I found the Balkan Explorer tour to be all that I was expecting. I knew that visiting 10 countries in 16 days was going to be a busy holiday and it was. We saw so many amazing places under the guidance of our wonderful tour guide Dragana. She was perfect for the job as she guided a large group through a packed and varied trip through the Balkans. She was so knowledgeable of all of the places we visited but, more importantly, she took a personal interest in everyone on the tour and tried to make everyone's experience special. The only negative for me was how fast paced the tour was. There were places (like Ljubljana) that I would have loved to have spent more time in. Again, I knew what I signed up for and I think there were always going to be special places that I was going to want to see more of. The other special part of the tour was getting to meet so many wonderful people from all over the world. All in all, it was a great experience!

Great introduction to the Balkans
I had a great time on the Balkan Explorer tour! We had an amazing driver and great guide. This is a fast-paced tour with a lot of bus time, but also enough time in each location to see the main highlights. Do some research ahead of time on each location so you can use your time wisely once you arrive.

Amazing trip with so many countries to experience
This trip was amazing. It was great to see some countries that have been at war (or people just didn't feel safe traveling there), opening up and embracing tourism. Loved Croatia and the Greek experiences. Places like Serbia, Bosnia and Bulgaria were very surprising and interesting. Our guide was organized and informative and negotiated border crossings with ease.
