Your South African tour starts today in Cape Town! Home to the iconic Table Mountain, Cape Town is one of the most beautiful destinations in the world. Meet your tour leader at the hotel and jump right into the action on a city tour. See Signal Hill, District Six and more. Afterwards, enjoy a traditional braai (BBQ) at a local winery!

Today is a free day to explore Cape Town and its surroundings! Join the optional Cape Peninsula Day Trip to experience Cape Point, see the penguins at Boulders Beach and enjoy a lunchtime stop in Kalk Bay. Upon return, the peninsula tour will include a drop off at the V&A Waterfront - a fantastic shopping, eating and entertainment destination!

Following breakfast, drive through the Cape wine region. Stop in Stellenbosch, a charming university town complete with Cape Dutch architecture. Enjoy lunch at a local winery. Learn all about local varietals and wine-making processes from a local expert during a wine tasting. Then, take a scenic drive to Hermanus and enjoy a free evening in this picturesque seaside town.

The Garden Route awaits! Join the Spirit of Hermanus optional to tour an abalone farm and taste local brews before departing to Swellendam, a charming Cape Dutch town. The final stop of the day is Mossel Bay, a quaint harbour town. After checking into the hotel, look forward to an included dinner.

Travel to Botlierskop Private Game Reserve for a unique safari experience. Encounter rhinos, lions, giraffes and more! Later, find a spot for lunch around the bustling Knysna waterfront. Afterwards, look forward to exciting optional excursions. Roam free with the monkeys at Monkeyland or visit Birds of Eden, the world's largest free-flight aviary and bird sanctuary. Dinner is included this evening.

The Tsitsikamma forest is calling! This area encompasses rivers, gorges, mountains and lush forests. Consider an optional tree-top canopy tour or Woodcutters Trail Drive. Then, explore the Storms River Mouth. Walk along the coast, cross the impressive 77-metre long Storms River suspension bridge (if you dare!) and enjoy free time for lunch overlooking the ocean.

Travel along Route 62 today. Nestled between the Kouga and Tsitsikamma Mountains, this area offers spectacular views. Arrive in Oudtshoorn and enjoy a guided tour of a working ostrich farm before enjoying a three-course lunch. Later, explore the Cango Caves, a series of dripstone caverns more than 20 million years old! This evening, sit down for a buffet dinner.

The tour turns back towards Cape Town today. Stop in Robertson, another fantastic wine-producing region, to enjoy an included lunch before the tour continues to Paarl in the Cape Winelands. Here, enjoy a cheese and wine tasting. On your last night in Cape Town, make the most of a free evening in this city abuzz with world-class restaurants and bars!

Head to Cape Town airport first thing in the morning. Catch an included flight to Johannesburg, known as the "City of Gold". Arrive and travel east towards South Africa’s Mpumalanga province. The day ends as the tour arrives at tonight’s accommodation located on the outskirts of the Kruger National Park. Look forward to an included dinner with the group.

Experience a full-day game drive of the famous Kruger National Park! In this vast safari park, you can spot incredible wild animals like cheetahs, wild dogs, leopards, elephants and rhino. Later, head to the safari lodge/hotel on the western edge of the park. Time for a relaxing swim and a sun-downer or two before tonight’s included dinner!

Further explore the Kruger National Park! You have the option to embark on a safari in open safari vehicles led by local wildlife specialists. A full-day safari drive offers the opportunity to spend the day driving in prime game viewing areas, stopping at various waterholes and rest camps. Enjoying an included dinner in true African style.

Today, choose between a full-day, half-day or sunset safari and enjoy thrilling wildlife encounters. As the sun dips below the savanna, watch wildlife stir in golden light. This evening, enjoy the last dinner in the African bush. Spend time around the campfire exchanging safari stories and sipping Amarula, an African liqueur.

Discover the Panorama Route on an enchanting drive through Mpumalanga. The first destination is the Three Rondavels viewpoint with a stunning vista over the Blyde River Canyon. Next is Bourke’s Luck Potholes, a natural water feature with hundreds of natural potholes and plunge pools. Continue back to Johannesburg for a farewell dinner with new friends!
